Ride Description
We have a Beautiful 400 mile ride planned. Kickstands up at 8am from 66 Pit Stop Gas Station Exit 140, 14311 Central Ave NW. Arrive at 730 am for the Pre-Ride Briefing. RC’s will be Hardrock Lead and Pavegord Rear. 101 miles to the Flying J in Jamestown for gas. 113 Miles to the Maverik in Holbrook for gas and lunch stop. The Maverik “Bonfire Grill” advertises made to order food, breakfast burritos, steak tacos etc, not sure about roller dogs for Big Miles. 97 miles to the Speedway in Payson for gas, break and shed layers. 81 miles to the Hotel Tempest.
East on Alameda to the Southbound Frontage Road to Paseo Del Norte West. Turning South on Atrisco Vista to I-40 West. I-40 West to Holbrook, exit 286 South to AZ-77 to AZ-377 S, AZ-260 W around the Mogollon Rim to AZ-87. South out of Payson (the Beeline) has some very nice sweepers and exit on McDowell Rd West to AZ-101 Loop South to Tempe. Take exit 52 to University.
Four Peaks Brewing is .3 miles walk from the Hotel and will be a great place to gather for dinner after the ride.
Arizona Bike Week at Westworld is a celebration of motorcycles and music. With two stages, featuring live music all day and night, plus vendors, stunt shows, bike shows, contests and demos, there’s plenty of entertainment options for everyone. The scenic terrain and amazing spring weather make for some of the best riding this time of year. The Early Rider Saturday Pass grants you access to Arizona Bikeweek at Westworld from 10am to 3pm for $15.
We’ll be leaving at 930am Saturday morning for the 17 mile ride North on the Pima Hwy/101 to Westworld for Arizona Bikeweek

Open Event: This event is open to Chapter members, National H.O.G. members and other guests as desired. All riders and passengers must sign a release.
Impairment Policy: The consumption and use of alcohol is a serious personal responsibility involving the safety of family, riding friends and the individual HOG member. Alcohol consumption before or during a motorcycling activity is not safe, responsible behavior. Turquoise Trail Chapter #2015 does not allow the use of alcohol or drugs before or during a riding event* and does not furnish alcohol at Chapter rides. Riders whose skills are observed or suspected to be impaired by alcohol or drugs before riding cannot join the ride. Riders using alcohol or drugs while riding will be asked to leave the ride. It is the responsibility of each Template Chapter member to support the consistent enforcement of this policy
Photography Policy: Photographing, filming, recording and videotaping of activities and events will be occurring Turquoise Trail Chapter events. By entering the H.O.G.® event area, you irrevocably grant permission to the Harley-Davidson Motor Company® and its agents to photograph, film, record and/or videotape you and use (and authorize the use of) your name, image, likeness, voice, and/or biographical or other information in any and all media now known or hereinafter developed in perpetuity for any and all purposes.
